The checklist
- Blond bob wig: look for "pageboy" or "mushroom bob" wigs in honey or golden blond; brush the fringe straight and flare the ends outward.
- Handlebar mustache: a stick-on costume mustache, trimmed and curled up with mustache wax or hair gel. Darker than the wig is fine.
- Brown houndstooth or check suit: a three-piece is ideal; a check blazer with brown trousers and a waistcoat also works.
- White shirt, a patterned burgundy tie and a small pocket square.
- A chunky gold ring on one hand, and brown leather shoes.
Getting the look right
The silhouette matters more than exact pieces. Keep the wig voluminous and rounded, sit it low so the fringe touches the eyebrows, and make the mustache wider than your mouth. Stand tall, keep the jacket buttoned and the tie centred.
For photos and videos, copy the character: square up to the camera, raise both fists in a boxing guard, bounce lightly and throw slow jabs while keeping a completely blank face.
